– Hi, I’m Emmanuel Greciet. I’m the director for Professional and Technical Services at Accedian Networks, a telecommunication company in Montreal. Part of my role is to actually manage all the Salesforce implementation, which we have implemented with the help of Nubik and their technical and programming staff.

– We are an international company. And we’ve got a lot of presence outside Canada. And 98% of our business is done outside, actually, Canada. We didn’t have, really, a CRM tool to manage our opportunities, our quoting, our price books. So we started to look for a CRM system that were cloud based. And due to prior experience, myself, with Salesforce, and Francois’ also, experience with Salesforce, we decided to go with that tool.
At Accedian, we are very creative. We got a lot of imagination. So once we start to work with the Salesforce platform, we knew sky would be the limit, in terms of programming. But we know exactly what could be our limits. We knew that it was important to get someone with knowledge about Salesforce. And one of the main reason we chose Nubik, it was a local partner, based in Montreal, French speaking partner, and also the relationship of the people from Nubik that came at that time.
They actually sat a couple of days to try to understand a little bit more about our implementation, what we wanted to do, how we were going to do it. So we started with baby steps, one step at a time, which is the standard opportunity, quoting, price book. But then after it, they come with a more complex approval process for pricing. So all of these small building blocks that makes this solution as being a corporate tool, we’ve worked closely with Nubik to try to implement that.

– We don’t try to customize too much. So example, for all the quoting, the price book management, the customer portal, the software distribution using libraries, all this is just standard components from Salesforce that we’ve pushed to the limit with Nubik.

Emmanuel Greciet: So we’ve been working with Nubik since 2013. We’ve developed a very strong relationship with Nubik. I’m speaking with them twice a week on the project side and on the administrative side.
