INTRODUCTION

The client’s business operations included a team of over 160 field technicians responding to customer calls, repair requests, and handling work orders. Prior to working with Salesforce, this IT company had internal teams processing requests manually by email, then connecting with technicians to schedule jobs. Meanwhile, they had multiple resources dedicated to data entry for billing purposes. This system was time-consuming, tedious, and needed to change.

SOLUTION

Our Salesforce consultants worked with this Nova Scotia-based client to develop architecture for a Salesforce solution that includes Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service, and Conga Documents. We helped the client determine an optimal strategy to capture time spent on service jobs based on the client’s billing scenarios, and connected their CRM to their partner’s external systems for seamless integration of incoming work orders, in order to provide updates and trigger billing in partner systems.

RESULTS

Thanks to working with Nubik’s Salesforce consultants to find an IT-forward solution, ABM now has a system in place with efficient processes that eliminated duplication of efforts, refreshed redundant manual systems, and gave the client a better overhead view of operations. They can now engage with prospects and new customers, track business activities and cases, resolve requests and work orders, schedule and dispatch appointments efficiently with mobile functionality for technicians, automate billing, and finalize deals directly through a fully-functional CRM.
